At an Outfitting lodge, Charlevoix rhymes with fishing for speckled trout, also commonly known as brook trout.

At Humanity Lodge, the exceptional fishing is due in large part to the fact that we stock certain lakes every week, from may until october. Over the course of the season, thousands of 9-13 inch stocked trout enchant fishermen, fisherwomen and fisherkids in search of quantity and quality.

For those who prefer the challenge of fishing strictly for native trout, Humanity Lodge offers lake Francois, a beautiful lake that is home to native brook trout that can tip the scales at up to 4 lbs.

Lake Florent, a lake hosting nothing but trophy speckled trout, not only for the number of catches, but by the average weight. The average speckled trout weighs an incredible 2.5 lbs. Imagine if you can catching a beautiful, crimson red-bellied 4lb speckled trout on a dry fly. Makes one salivate at the prospect of fishing at Humanity Lodge, right?

Due to our extended exclusive rights, fishing is permitted throughout the fall, deep into october. At Humanity Lodge there is no hunting season so the entire territory remains available for fishing as well as a variety of outdoor activities. Fishing amidst the beautiful fall colours is worth the drive. See you this fall!

Our different cottages allow big groups(8-12) as well as small families(2-6) to lodge comfortably. Both gasoline motors AND electric motors are necessary. Bring your motors ( 2.5h.p max.) Motors are available for rental at the office.

You love to fish but you only have the weekend? Take advantage of our LATE CHECK-OUT and fish from friday afternoon until 6 PM on sunday.
